Djembe Lesson: How to play Komodon African Rhythm on Djembe

In this video we're going to play a rhythm called Komodon. Komodon is a traditional djembe rhythm from West Africa, mainly Guinea and Mali. The rhythm is really for the trickster. It is a very interesting rhythm that has a very interesting time signature.

Beginner and intermediate level players should pay attention to the sounds you hear and the hand patterns. The hand pattern is a little challenging as it is a hand over hand pattern.
